The Shadow Of Death

Psalm 23:4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”

Dearly Beloved:  May God’s grace, peace, love, joy and will to live be ever upon you.  As many of my loyal readers know, I am currently housed at the max prison here in Massachusetts.  Recently, former New England Patriot, Aaron Hernandez, took his own life.  I never met Aaron.  We were housed in different areas, but his reputation preceded him.  He was a larger than life character with a magnetic personality.  He was well known for his generosity and his faith in God.  He was referred to by those who knew him as “Double A”.  Even though I never met Aaron, his death had a profound affect on me.  Like Aaron, I am serving a life sentence.  Thoughts of ending my own life used to loom in my mind as well.  My love for my children and family kept me sane and helped me to realize how much pain it would cause them.  Most importantly, though, my faith in Jesus has led me to realize that I still have purpose.  God has plans for me.  Still, I can’t help but feel Aaron’s pain.  I can’t help but understand his decision.  I don’t know whether or not Aaron was guilty or innocent.  It is not my place to judge him nor is it right to believe the media hype.  Being a man serving a life sentence for crimes that I did not commit has both humbled me and opened my eyes.  I am no longer so quick to judge.   (more…)

Separation From God = Death For Democracy

https://www.pexels.com/photo/silhouette-photo-of-a-man-standing-on-the-edge-of-the-mountain-139573/Philippians 2:14-16  “Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.”

Dearly Beloved:  May God’s grace, peace, wisdom and love be ever upon you.  Democracy in America is slowly dying as a result of our separation from God.  Do you know what communist countries have in common?  They are by and large atheist.  Because of that, they are far more restrictive.  You see, absent a faith in God, it has been shown that mankind is more likely to be immoral and thus more likely to be unlawful.  Freedom without morality leads to chaos.  When man has faith and a sense that God is watching, we are more likely to be moral and law abiding without the need of a restrictive government.  America has endured for centuries due to the fact that we were by and large a Christian nation.  That is now changing.  As more and more of our citizens deny God, we are becoming more chaotic and thus our freedom is being stripped from us as our government tighten its grip on us.  We are on the verge of imploding. Prosperity Vs. Avarice

God's Plan versus My PlanJeremiah 29:11  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (NIV)

Dearly Beloved:  May God’s love, grace and peace be upon you and may you prosper in the Lord.  Amen!
It seems today that everyone wants to be wealthy, but not everyone understands what that means.  You can be wealthy with material things, yet poor in the spirit.  Likewise, you can have an abundance of the Holy Spirit beyond measure and yet be physically dirt poor.  I would choose the latter over the former any day of the week and twice on Sunday.  For, what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world yet has not love?  God is love and love is God.  Without love, without God, it is pointless to exist and you shall forever feel empty and incomplete.  Now, let me be clear…God wants us to prosper both spiritually and sometimes financially.  He wants all of our needs met both physically and spiritually.  That is a fact.  Solomon and David are prime examples of the wealth God can lavish on His children.  When you are a child of God, you are meant to prosper.  Of course, there are times such as in the case of Job when suffering may be part of His plan.  In His infinitely divine wisdom, He sometimes allows folks to be physically poor.  Just as steel needs to be pounded and tempered, so too must God’s children in order to gain strength and wisdom. Ignorance Is Not Bliss

Psalm 73:21-24  Thus my heart was grieved, And I was vexed in my mind.  I was so foolish and ignorant; I was like a beast before You.  Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand.  You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.

Dearly Beloved:  May God’s mercy and prosperity be upon you.
So many people are ignorant of the truth; blind to the facts of reality.  Billions of people do not know JESUS or His Word.  They are ignorant of the truth.  Such ignorance leads to eternal separation from GOD.  I can assure you that there is nothing truly blissful about being separated from GOD.  I never felt more alone than when I was separated from the truth that is JESUS CHRIST.   Back then, I felt only momentary happiness.  I searched for bliss unsuccessfully.  Being a father brought me immense joy, but there was always something missing…something that I needed to feel complete.  I tried everything – women, substances, money.  NONE of it made me happy.  I bought doodads and trinkets, all manner of luxuries.  Nothing I tried worked.  I was ignorant and blind.  But, for all my ignorance, I felt nothing resembling bliss.  I felt damp and cold.  I was shrouded in darkness and in desperate need of light.  I never once felt settled.  Nothing in my life was safe or secure.  Do any of you feel like that right now?  Are any of you lost?  Is there an emptiness inside of you that seems as though it can never be fulfilled?  Do you feel unbalanced?  Are you thirsty and hungry for universal truth?  Do you lack a sense of purpose?  Are you missing the final piece of the puzzle that is existence?  You’re not alone.  I know how you feel.  I used to feel the exact same way. I can empathize with you.  You are plagued by an awful and destructive disease called ignorance.  The bad news is it is debilitating and leads to death.  The awesome news is it is curable. You don’t have to spend the rest of your existence in your current condition.  What you need is a huge dose of the gospel of JESUS CHRIST.  That is the only medicine that can cure your disease.  Nothing else will work. Believe me, I tried.  I was chasing foolishness.  It was utterly absurd.  All I did was make futile attempts to find lasting joy, real joy.  Sound familiar?  I was doing nothing more than running in circles, chasing a fantasy. Until the LORD, He changed everything.

Once I learned the truth, I was finally free from the chains of ignorance. A whole new plethora of possibilities was suddenly opened to me.  I have been awakened by the light.  I am no longer blind.  I see things clearly now.  My perception of reality has been forever altered for the better.  Doors that I never even knew existed are open to me now.  Things that I could not fathom in my wildest dreams are happening to me.  Yes, its true that I am physically in chains, but I am mentally and spiritually freer than I have ever been.  “How?”, you ask.  I am no longer ignorant to the one and only truth that truly matters.  I know the the truth about JESUS and the truth has set me free.  HALLELUJAH!  PRAISE GOD!

One cannot truly and fully elevate and grow without knowing the truth.  Ignorance is a leg iron that holds unbelievers back.  It keeps them from receiving their inheritance.  They are cut off from blessings and positive opportunities.  The dark is blinding.  Walking in it handicaps people.  It throws them off course. Why do you think it is that so many people lack a sense of direction and purpose?  Because they are walking blindly in total darkness.  They can’t see where it is that they are going.  They think that the misery that they feel is all there is to life.  To them, life is nothing more than a compilation of setbacks, challenges, heartache, loss and ultimately death. They don’t understand that there is so much more than that.  There is joy, there is purpose, meaning and blessings.  They can’t see it because they are in the dark.  And thus, they are the opposite of being blissful.  They are depressed and they live each day mourning the loss of the fantasy life they dreamed of living.  All the hopes they once had have long since evaporated into the ethereal.  They are miserable.

Ignorance is not bliss.  It is a gloomy death sentence.  Many of you can relate to what I am saying.  You once were ignorant, but you don’t have to be any longer.  No, sir.  I know a way that you can turn that frown upside down.  I know a way that you can illuminate the darkness so that you can see your path clearly.  Open up the Bible, read it and receive the light of the truth.  You need the gospel Truth to set you free.  You need JESUS to light your way.  Why would you keep stumbling blindly in the dark?  Now, I will admit that the path to the light is not an easy one, but it is well worth it.  It’s rewarding and paved with glory.  There is plenty of JOY to be had in serving the LORD.  All you have to do is truly want it with all your heart, mind and soul.  If you will only submit and admit, then ask for forgiveness, you can be whole and enlightened.  Let the LORD shake off your ignorance so that you can be truly blissful.  Use the following prayer as a guide.  Say it to the Lord; mean it, live it and breathe it.
“Dear Jesus, I know that because of my sin I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins. I believe You rose again so I could live with You. I want to stop living for myself and start living for You. I want Your peace in my life. I want forgiveness for my sins. Please come into my heart and change my life. I want to live with You forever. I want You to be my Lord and Savior. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
If you said it and you meant it; if you gave your heart to JESUS, then you are my brother or sister and I welcome you to the light.  HALLELUJAH!  PRAISE GOD!  AMEN!  If you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, please contact us.  We want to hear from you and assist you.
May GOD bless and keep you!  May you break the chains of ignorance!  May you forever walk in the light and be blissful!  Amen!
Love in Christ,
Randall
(A Man whose chains of ignorance have been broken by the Light)

Ephesians 4:17-32
This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
But you have not so learned Christ, if indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.
Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil. Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Love Or Hate ?

https://pixabay.com/en/masks-feelings-state-of-mind-701837/1st John 4:7-8  Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.  He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

Dearly Beloved:  May God’s grace, peace, love and glory be ever upon you.  I want to talk to you about the oldest and most lethal disease known to mankind.  Hate!  It is a disease that is both deadly and highly contagious.  Hate and evil are one.  If we embrace hate, then we embrace evil.  When we allow hate to take over our minds, we become accomplices to evil.  The very act of hating invokes evil in us and gives us license to condone the darkness of this world.  Hate turns us into instruments of evil.  We become mindless tools and pawns.  As if black clay, we can be shaped, molded and ultimately malformed by hate.  I have been faced with so much hate these past three and some odd years.  Only love can shield us from hate.  If it were not for the love of Christ, I may have been consumed by hate; enveloped in the total darkness of evil.  I may have become spiteful and devoid of light; angry and full of pain.  My heart may have been a sub-zero slab of stone.  Let me tell you, my beloved, it is so easy for any one of us to fall victim to hate; so easy to succumb to the darkness – especially when we are faced with such great adversity such as I am now.   (more…)

Me, Myself and I AM

https://www.pexels.com/photo/nature-sky-sunset-man-6550/Exodus 3:14-15
And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
Moreover God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations.’

Dearest Brothers and Sisters:  Greetings!  May God’s grace, love, peace, joy and protection be ever upon you all.  Let me start by saying, “Praise God!  Praise God!  Praise God!  Amen and Amen!”  It feels so good to praise Him.  Hallelujah!  I love the Lord so much, for He is all mighty and everlasting.  I am truly blessed to report that after many months of separation (due to my solitary confinement in Maine), I was finally reunited with my two eldest children this week.  I was able to visit with each of them individually for several hours.  God Is Great!  Yes, He Is!  Amen!  I knew from the beginning of my situation when I turned myself in that I would be railroaded.  Thus, my heart was heavy when I was transported from Massachusetts to Maine in 2012.  I remember thinking that I may never see my beloved home state again, for I knew that my color would be a huge factor in my case.  Tears streamed down my face as I pondered the possibility of never returning to my place of birth again.  But, you see, I did not know or trust the Lord then.  I was only just beginning to connect with Him.  Nothing in this or any other world can thwart God when He has a plan.  God meant for me to return home and so here I am.  It is true I am still in chains, but nevertheless, I am home. The Power Of Joy And Laughter

https://unsplash.com/photos/yvx7LSZSzeoJames 1:2-3  “My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.”

Dear Readers,  When I think of the passage above, I see an even deeper meaning, especially due to my current circumstances.  Now James is telling us that when we suffer for Christ, we should take pleasure in it.  He is explaining that it is wonderful and honorable to suffer on earth for the Lord.  But, I believe there is more to it.

I am now in my fifth month of solitary confinement.  The S.M.U. [Supermax Unit] is divided into sections.  I am housed on what is known as the programs corridor.  There are 14 men altogether on this corridor.  Seven on one side and seven on the other.  Our cells face each other, so we can yell through the cracks of our cell doors and conversate.  Every day, I find a way to make these men laugh. Dear God, Thank You!

http://gratisography.com/pictures/86_1.jpgPsalm 95:1-3  Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!  Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.  Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving;  Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.  For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods.”

Dear Readers,  Grace, love, peace and joy unto you, my beautiful brothers and sisters.  To all my American readers, Happy Thanksgiving.  Though I am serving an unjust life sentence for crimes that I did not commit, and though I have been in solitary confinement for four months now; I am never-the-less thankful.  I have so much to be grateful for… my salvation, my family, my peace, my joy, et cetera, et cetera.  This year, I am especially thankful for two of my very best friends, Tom and Terry Shuford.  They are both amazing people, though they are too humble to realize that themselves.  God has done so much for me, not the least of which was putting Tom and Terry in my life.  I am so thankful for them, Father.  Praise Your Name, Lord!

I first met my buddy, Tom, in April of 2014, just before my trial started.  Terry wrote me letters back then and she began visiting me a few months later.  That was a very stressful time in my life.  If it were not for the Lord blessing me with Tom and Terry, as well as my good friend, Deborah, I don’t know how I would have made it this far.  The Lord did most of the work, but their support was and is crucial to my stability.   (more…)

The War On God, Freedom & Human Rights

haikudeck_the_first_amendmentJohn 15:20-21  Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.”

Dear Readers, Greetings.  May God’s blessings, peace, joy, love and grace be ever upon you, my beautiful brothers and sisters.  As always, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.  Being persecuted is part of being a Christian.  Sadly, it is increasingly becoming part of being an American as well.  Paul warned us in 2nd Timothy 3:12, “Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.”  Once again, this site is under attack, my brothers and sisters.  Once again, the attorney general of the State of Maine, as well as the D.O.C. [Department of Corrections] are trying to stop me from spreading the gospel and speaking about my Lord.  Once again, they are trying to prevent myself and others from writing about our personal experiences and treatment.  Once again, they are trying to bury the truth.  The honest fact of the matter is, the State of Maine has a largely corrupt justice system.  I would not say that it is entirely corrupt.  However, corruption runs rampant within the police departments, courts, attorney general’s office, district attorney’s offices and even parts of the political factions.  That’s the truth and they do not want you to know it. This situation is not only taking place in the State of Maine, but is nationwide.  The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the truth and they don’t – want – you – to – know – it.  The “powers that be” are eroding the moral fabric of this country.  They are making immorality the new norm.  You see, by doing so, they in turn justify their own behavior.  They are trying to create an over-medicated, fearful and complacent society.  They want our minds to be malleable and pliant to their will, not God’s.  That is the truth and they – don’t – want – you – to – know – it.  If we are not careful, we will eventually lose all of our freedoms.  Take a look around you, folks.  I am not a kook.  People are being jailed and fined for expressing their religious beliefs.  They are ever encroaching and infringing on our constitutional rights. You Are Not Alone

gratisography.com/pictures/118_1.jpgPsalm 23:4  Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Dear Readers,  It is easy to feel lonely in this world.  Some of us may go through times of despair when we feel no one cares about us.  I have been there before; before I was saved.  You get the feeling of being lost, and you feel down and out.  That is the devil doing that to you.  He wants us to feel disconnected from love.  It makes it easier for him to lead us astray.  I was put in solitary confinement the first time two years ago, but I was never alone.  I had Jesus with me.  Once they gave me a bible, I was all set.  I had everything I needed.  I had never in my life been so isolated from the physical world before.  Yet spiritually, I had never felt better. [until recently]  God is so awesome.  Praise His Name!  Hallelujah!  In our darkest hours, on our coldest nights, no matter how great the adversity we face; Jesus is there with us. (more…)

Spread The Word!!!

pexels.com/photo/marketing-man-person-communication-362/Dear Readers:

I Thessalonians 1:8  “For from you the word of the Lord has sounded forth, not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but also in every place. Your faith toward God has gone out, so that we do not need to say anything.”

Greetings and blessings to you, my brothers and sisters.  I pray that the Lord’s peace and prosperity are presiding over you.  I send my love to each and every one of you.  You are all in my prayers daily.  I am overjoyed today because I have just realized that the site has been up for 13 months now.  Praise God!  As I ponder this, I am reminded of Mark 16:15 “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.'” and Psalm 67:2  “That Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations.”  That is the mission that God has given to all of us.  We must preach the gospel to the whole world.  And, with this site, I and my brothers and sisters are doing just that.  Hallelujah!  I thank all of you and I ask you to join us in spreading the gospel.  Tell everyone you meet about the Good News Gospel.  Spread the word!  You can even do so online by sharing this site with others or messaging and emailing scriptures.  I try to incorporate the Good News into every conversation I have.  Sometimes we do so just by our actions.  When we walk upright, people can see the glory of God in us.   (more…)

Solid As A Rock

Randall Daluz - The Solid RockLuke 6:46-49  “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?  Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock.  But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell.  And the ruin of that house was great.”

Dear Readers:  Today is my first day of prison.  As I expected, I am in the super-max.  They say it is for my safety.  They have put me on the most restrictive level.  For now, I am being confined to my cell for 24 hours a day.  I am not allowed to use the telephone – which they say is for my safety.  I am only allowed to shave once a week and I can only shower 3 times a week.  My cell is small and as I look around, I can feel the suffering and loneliness which has no doubt been endured by many, many men.  There are blood stains on the ceiling, walls and floor.  They are signs of the depravity, which becomes some men, when their loneliness and pain overtakes them.  I am not, nor do I intend to be one of those men.  You see, I possess something that they do not have – the love of Christ.  The Lord is my Rock.  HE is solid.  I have built my house of faith upon Him.  Thus, my faith is secure and shall not fail me.
