Dear Mr. Trump a.k.a. “The Donald”:
May God’s mercy, peace, truth and strength be ingrained on every fiber of your being. May you seek and find His forgiveness and learn to follow His commandments. Mr. Trump, I do not hate you nor mean you harm, sir. I am neither your judge nor your jury. From the beginning of your presidency, I have prayed for you and gave you the benefit of doubt because you are my president. I have hoped that you would be a man of integrity and that you would bring justice, strength and prosperity to our great nation and the world. In the beginning, during your candidacy, I took a hard stance against you. I thought you to be a hate monger and a liar. Though you claimed to be my brother in CHRIST, I was hesitant to accept your claim for it appeared to me that you are not in line with Christian values nor our founding principles given and commanded by the LORD our GOD.
Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
But, I could not judge you for the LORD reminded me of John 8:7 – “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.”
When you were elected, sir, I tried not to listen to the media because I know from experience that they sometimes lie and some of their news is politically motivated. I even defended you, sir, and tried to point out the good in you. I have prayed for you, Mr. President. LORD knows that I have. When the media did not produce any evidence of your involvement with Russia, I started to believe that maybe you were the victim of slander and maybe you were being unfairly treated and bullied by them. As a person of color, I did not like your alliance with racist white nationalists nor the hate that was being perpetrated by them. They were emboldened by your election. That was clear, but still I held on to hope. I wanted to believe you would grow and improve. In May of 2017, you claimed that your only dealings with Russians were a home you had sold to one and your pageant being filmed in Moscow. “That was it”, you said. You said you had no other dealings with them. You lied, sir. Why? You can’t claim “fake news” anymore. The truth is becoming clearer and clearer. You’ve been in music videos with wealthy Russians; you’ve had dealings with known Russian mobsters including permitting the Trump name to be attached to Russian owned buildings; you’ve used corrupt Russian banks to finance your own projects; you appointed a secretary of defense, Michael Flynn, who is in bed with those banks and the Kremlin and whose influence on you was aimed at lifting sanctions on Russia; and your own son met with Russians during the election. The truth always comes out in the light. You’re now exposed, sir, and your lies are unseemly. Your actions are allowing a foreign competitor to make a mockery of our country. For shame, sir, for shame!
I told you, Donald, that I am neither your judge nor your jury. LORD knows I have my own sins – (John 8:7). I am just a humble messenger, sir, that’s all. The message is this: Repent and be truthful, sir. For the sake of our nation and the world, resign sir and gracefully bow out before you cause any more damage to yourself, your name, your legacy and the the legacy of your children. If you are incapable of doing so for GOD and country,t hen do it for the only things which you seem to value. I promise you, sir, that that is far less shame than the shame that will come when your house of deceit, lies and hate collapses. I am still praying for you, Mr. President and I am still hopeful that you will awaken.
May God bless and keep you, sir! May your eyes open! May God save our country and your soul! Amen!
Love in CHRIST,
Randall
