Separation From God = Death For Democracy

Dearly Beloved:  May God’s grace, peace, wisdom and love be ever upon you.  Democracy in America is slowly dying as a result of our separation from God.  Do you know what communist countries have in common?  They are by and large atheist.  Because of that, they are far more restrictive.  You see, absent a faith in God, it has been shown that mankind is more likely to be immoral and thus more likely to be unlawful.  Freedom without morality leads to chaos.  When man has faith and a sense that God is watching, we are more likely to be moral and law abiding without the need of a restrictive government.  America has endured for centuries due to the fact that we were by and large a Christian nation.  That is now changing.  As more and more of our citizens deny God, we are becoming more chaotic and thus our freedom is being stripped from us as our government tighten its grip on us.  We are on the verge of imploding.

At no time in history has the demise of democracy been more apparent than this year’s election.  I have watched men and women who are supposed to be godly leaders endorse a charlatan and a scoundrel.  For some liberal and minority Christians, they are willing to back a known corrupt liar [Clinton] simply because she pretends to care about their issues and claims she will stand for justice and equality.  For some conservative right-wingers, they are willing to back a racist, immoral, sexually violent, egotistical, self-righteous, money-grubbing phony simply because he claims he is against abortion and for guns.  Boy, it really doesn’t take much to impress some members of the church these days.  Many of you are shaking your heads and wondering where this country has gone wrong.  We went wrong when we started losing touch with God.  We went wrong when we allowed our moral compass to become distorted and skewed.  We went wrong when we allowed politicians to stupefy and mystify us with bull dung.  How long have the republicans been claiming to be pro-life?  Has any of them really done anything to stop abortion?  Could they, even if they tried?  How long have the democrats promised equal rights and liberty for all?  Has our race relations or justice system improved?  Have they done anything meaningful?  When’s the last time, you think, Hillary or “The Donald” has gone to church regularly, if ever?  Would a Christian man really call himself “The Donald”, putting himself above everyone else?  And yet, people are justifying their allegiances to these two.

This is a wake up call.  This country, this entire world, is in need of a spiritual revival if democracy is to survive.  I am talking to the unrepentant sinners and the wayward believers right now.  I know you’re hurting.  I can feel it.  I know that sin is weighing you down and mucking up your life; because I been there.  I know you’re sad and lonely.  I know there are things that you are hiding because you are ashamed.  I know what it’s like to live a lie; because I used to, too.  I know you use drugs and alcohol to kill the pain.  I know they don’t work; because I tried to, too.  I know you are lost.  I know that you want to get right with god, but you are too afraid to face Him.  I know you feel empty, ugly and unappreciated; because I used to, too.  I know that you have been abused and as a result become an abuser to some extent.  I know that you don’t want to share your pain because you are afraid that the vultures and snakes among us will view it as a weakness and use it against you; so you keep it hidden and bottled up and it tear you apart inside.  I know what it is like to look in the mirror and hate your own reflection.  I know you.  More importantly, God knows you.

Some of you have tears in your eyes right now.  That’s okay, let them out.  You are convicted and that is a start.  Let all that pain, that you have been holding in, out.  Come on, now.  It’s time.  What you are feeling is Jesus tugging on your heart strings.  He is using me to reach you.  He wants you to come to Him and open your heart.  Are you ready?  Good!  Repeat the following prayer.  If you are able, get on your knees and say:
“Dear Jesus, I know that because of my sin I need Your forgiveness.  I believe that You died on the cross for my sins.  I believe You rose again so I could live with You.  I want to stop living for myself and start living for You.  I want Your peace in my life. I want forgiveness for my sins.  Please come into my heart and change my life.  I want to live with You forever.  I want You to be my Lord and Savior.  In Jesus’ name.  Amen.”
If you have said it and meant it, then you are my brother or sister and I welcome you to the body of Christ.  I love you so much!  Jesus loves you so much.  Come with us and let the healing begin.  Let Jesus save your soul and together we can save democracy.
If you’re not ready yet, I love you anyway, but you need to make a choice fast.  The fate of your immortal soul depends on it.  Unlike Hillary or “The Donald”, Jesus Christ has proven time after time that He can unite us.  He can make us whole and make America a truly great nation.  He can do that for all people in every country everywhere.  He is the only One who can.

Psalm 33:12  Blessed is the nation whose God is the LordThe people He has chosen as His own inheritance.”

May God bless and keep you!  May we be united in Christ.  May we truly be one nation under God for the sake of our souls and our democracy!  Amen!
Love in Christ,
Randall
