Worldly Pollution!

Philippians 4:8  “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”

Dearly Beloved:  May GOD’s grace, love, peace, joy and cleansing power be ever upon you.  I want to talk to you about all of the mental and spiritual pollution that exists in this corrupted world.  Now, I am not talking about greenhouse gasses or smog.  I am talking about things like pornography, violence, drugs, alcohol and the like.  Now, a lot of us are influenced by the environment that we put ourselves in, the people we are around and the places that we frequent.  And, let us not forget the content that we view.  All of those things infect our minds.  And, in time we begin to reflect what it is we surround ourselves with.  And when our surroundings are negative and sinful, we become polluted by them.  Poison seeps into our bodies and brings out our sinful nature.  That’s right, I said sinful nature; because as humans we are inherently sinful.  We are born sinners by our very nature.  We are sinners from the alpha and we will continue to sin until the omega; that is to say – from the beginning until the end of our earthly existence.  Since Adam and Eve fell in the garden, we have been inherently sinful and that will never change in this world.   (more…)

Maintaining Your Faith

Philippians 4:8-9  Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.  The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.”

Dearly beloved: May GOD‘s love, joy, peace and wisdom be ever upon you.  A lot of Christians maintain their homes, cars, bank accounts and bills, but sometimes we forget to maintain our faith.  Faith is our most important asset.  It is faith which makes us whole and complete.  Jesus is the cornerstone of our faith.  Thus, we must stay in touch and in tune with Him.  Well, how do we do that?  By staying in the Bible as much as possible and praying as much as possible.  We all have times when we lose touch with our LORD.  I went through that myself recently.  I found myself studying less.  For 4+ years I have done my best to immerse myself in my faith through prayer, meditation and Bible studies.  This harsh environment has caused me to be discouraged.  I love discussing the bible with others, but for some reason, I have not been allowed to go to church.  I am in the midst of taking legal action to fight for my right to go to church.  The lack of conversation with fellow believers as well as the lack of interest in my housing unit has caused me great distress.  It has affected my life and my spirituality.  Even my posts on this site have been affected.  My mood, attitude and drive have all been affected.   (more…)

Focus On God

https://www.pexels.com/photo/woman-sincerely-praying-in-focus-photography-192555/Mark 14:38  “Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

Dearly Beloved:  May God’s grace, peace, joy and love be ever upon you.  There are a lot of distractions in this world.  Things like sex, drugs, money, lust, toys and gambling.  My biggest distraction has always been women.  In the four years that I have been incarcerated, I have sworn off women.  I haven’t even considered them.  For the most part, I’ve kept my focus on God.  I have never been good at choosing the right women.  Thus, after becoming a Christian, I made up my mind to remain single.  Besides, what woman would want to marry a lifer?  I am broke and I can’t take care of her physical needs.  All I have to offer is love, devotion, loyalty and support.  Without my physical presence, that is not enough for most women.  Over the years, a few have reached out to me, but I just brushed them off – not wanting to take a chance of being hurt.  I am a man and GOD gives me strength, but I still have feelings just like almost everyone else.  (I have met some in my time who are truly heartless.)

Some months back I began corresponding with a very beautiful woman.  I was in a very depressed and vulnerable state at the time.  I kept her at arms length at first.  I intended only to be a friend to her.  Well, after several months of getting to know her I became smitten with her.  She had been through a lot and like me, she’s a survivor.  Her story touched me deeply and (more…)

Separation From God = Death For Democracy

https://www.pexels.com/photo/silhouette-photo-of-a-man-standing-on-the-edge-of-the-mountain-139573/Philippians 2:14-16  “Do all things without complaining and disputing, that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain.”

Dearly Beloved:  May God’s grace, peace, wisdom and love be ever upon you.  Democracy in America is slowly dying as a result of our separation from God.  Do you know what communist countries have in common?  They are by and large atheist.  Because of that, they are far more restrictive.  You see, absent a faith in God, it has been shown that mankind is more likely to be immoral and thus more likely to be unlawful.  Freedom without morality leads to chaos.  When man has faith and a sense that God is watching, we are more likely to be moral and law abiding without the need of a restrictive government.  America has endured for centuries due to the fact that we were by and large a Christian nation.  That is now changing.  As more and more of our citizens deny God, we are becoming more chaotic and thus our freedom is being stripped from us as our government tighten its grip on us.  We are on the verge of imploding. I Am Just A Man

https://unsplash.com/photos/xz4KUoOElToActs 23:11-12  But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.”  And when it was day, some of the Jews banded together and bound themselves under an oath, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.

Dearly Beloved,
May the peace, love, joy and grace of our Lord be ever upon you.  Times have been rough for me spiritually and emotionally lately.  I have been struggling with doubt – not of God, but of man.  Those of you who have been following my situation have heard that I have been wrongfully convicted of horrific and tragic crimes.  Race was injected into my trial.  I was stereotyped and mislabeled.  The prosecutors and police tampered with evidence and witnesses.  I filed for a mistrial and the courts stalled me for over a year.  Now, all of a sudden, they are rushing my appeal.  To my knowledge, they only rush an appeal when they intend to deny it.  Such usually happens when a person or persons with great political power pulls strings.  Now, I’m no martyr; nor am I seeking sympathy by claiming to be a victim.  The facts are the facts.  What took place during my trial was nothing short of a modern day lynching.  Questions like, what color the people are where I am from, had no relevance whatsoever.  They were posed solely to prejudice the jury.  The suggestion, that a white man wouldn’t need to carry a gun because he is white and around white people, is also clearly and undeniably racist and meant to prejudice the jury.  Yet, I was denied a motion for a mistrial and by the looks of it, I may be on the fast track to being railroaded on my appeal.  Notice I said, “by the looks of it.”  The truth is, I have no way of knowing what the outcome may be.  My fears, though based on experience, are not necessarily valid.

Now, you would think that after all that God has done for me, after the miracles I witnessed and prayers He has answered, that my faith would be bulletproof.  Paul actually witnessed and spoke to Christ, yet he continued to question the Lord.  Why, he doubted whether or not he would even live moment to moment.  The Lord constantly had to remind Paul that He was with him, that Paul had a purpose to fulfill and his time to die had not yet come.   (more…)

Wage Peace, Not War

https://www.pexels.com/photo/german-love-padlock-4662/Luke 1:77-79  To give knowledge of salvation to His people by the remission of their sins, through the tender mercy of our God, with which the Dayspring from on high has visited us; To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.”

Dear Readers, May the peace of Christ be ever upon you.  I want to tell all of you, everyone who reads my posts, that I love you in the name of Jesus.  Praise His Name!  Shout Hallelujah!  When I say, “everyone”, I mean even those who hate and despise me.  Even those who return evil for good, and especially those who mean me harm, the ones who think of me as  their enemy and wish to take down this site.  I want you to know that I love you most of all.  Even the M.D.O.C. and the prison administration, who have begun to threaten me weekly, and who only last Friday told me that I will remain in solitary confinement until I stop writing.  I love you!  That love has been hard won within my spirit.  Like any normal human being, my first thoughts upon being attacked are often those of indignation.  But, like any true Christian, the love of my Lord Jesus Christ and His Spirit which dwells within me has led me to the ways of peace and forgiveness. From The Ashes

John 2:19  Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.”

“Our God” by Chris Tomlin (with lyrics)

If you have been watching the news lately, you have been bombarded with images of chaos in Baltimore.  It is no doubt disturbing, but where we see tragedy, the Lord sees opportunity.  Man’s garbage is the Lord’s treasure.  Where we see loss, the Lord sees potential gain.  In many parts of the world, farmers who are clearing new land, set it on fire.  They burn everything.  You see the ashes are a natural fertilizer.  From those ashes will spawn beautiful healthy crops.  That’s amazing isn’t it?  I love the way that God works.  Hallelujah!  In the wake of destruction, new life is wrought.  Praise God!  Let us not focus on the negative destruction.  Instead, let us focus on renewal.   (more…)

ONE

Randall Daluz Love God Love PeoplePhilippians 2:1-4  Therefore if there is any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any affection and mercy, fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.  Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.  Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

We were created to be one.  One with GOD and one with each other.  There is only one world, one people and one Love.  God is Love and Love is God.  There is only one genetic code [D.N.A.].  All of the life forms that you see around you are different variations of that code.  What makes people unique is our human genome.  Now when I say unique, I mean different from other species.  For as a kind or species, we are the same genetically.  God did not create us to evolve; rather, He created us to adapt to our environment.  Thus, we have very, very slight and minute differences.  For instance, people from Asia come from a windy environment.  Thus, their bodies adapted by slanting their eyes to shield them from dust and debris. DNA via Wikipedia Skin color is an adaptation to shield people from the sun in warmer climates, such as Africa, and to absorb more sun in places such as England and Ireland where it is notoriously cloudy.  It is so brilliant how the Father works.  I marvel at His creativity and ingenuity.  We all came from the Garden of Eden.  It was sunny and warm there.  So, it is likely that Adam and Eve were some medium color.  Adam’s fall from grace created separation – separation from God and each other.  Man was forced to leave Eden.  As we multiplied, we went separate ways and into different environments.  Thus, we adapted and developed slight differences.  The same occurred after the great flood.  Those adaptations combined with the sin in our hearts caused us to hate each other based on our differences.  Racism is idiocy since there is truly only one race – the human race.   (more…)

Resolution “2015”

Randall Daluz | New Year 2015Dear Readers:
Happy New Year, readers.  I pray all is well with you.  New years are synonymous with new beginnings.  This is a time for resolutions.  My New Year’s resolution is to totally eradicate cursing from my speech.  Also – and most importantly – I want to do better with managing my frustration.  Mark 7:15 says “There is nothing that enters a man from outside which can defile him; but the things which come out of him, those are the things that defile a man.”   That is something I really have to remember – we all should.  I am not a perfect man; none of us are.  Lately I have had a problem with people shouting, “Nigger!” and other foul obscenities when I pass their cell blocks.  It hurts.  Usually, I ignore it and keep moving, but lately it has caused me some stress.  Admittedly, I have allowed it to disrupt my peace.  I was persecuted during my trial because of my color.   (more…)

Patience

hourglassesDear Readers:
I would like to talk to you this week about patience.  Hope, faith and patience are intricately linked.  To be patient, you must have hope and faith.

Romans 12:12
“rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer;”

Sometimes it is hard to be patient in the face of adversity or during tribulations.  I say this as a man who is currently facing great trials and tribulations.  Right now, I am fighting for a new trial.  The State is stalling my case by refusing to provide some evidence. (more…)

To Live Is Christ

Luke 17:6  So the Lord said, fc9769257a075a22e39c701ce2cdd068“If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. (NKJV)

What a strong and powerful statement!  I often reflect on Jesus’ words.  I, myself, being but a man, have trouble grasping such a statement.  No matter how much faith I muster, if will never measure up to the Lord’s.  Sometimes as Christians we forget that we are human beings.  We make mistakes because our souls are currently encased in flesh.  As a man, I admit sometimes it is hard to deal with the struggles of this world.   (more…)

Learning From Mistakes

goderasesmistakesDear Readers:
Last week was a test of faith in the midst of adversity.  My mother, sister and two daughters came to visit.  I had not seen my mother or sister for two and a half years.  I planned their visit two and a half weeks in advance.  I spoke to the administration and I was assured that I would be granted a two-hour contact visit.  However, the day before the scheduled visit, I was told it would be a non-contact visit (behind glass) and I would not be allowed to hug and kiss my family.  For a brief regretful moment, I lost my composure and acted out of character.  You must understand that I love my family dearly.  In fact, the only thing in existence that I love more than my family is my Lord.  I spoke to my mom on the phone.  I was very upset, but she calmed me down and told me to pray on it.   (more…)
