Ephesians 5:8-14 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. Therefore He says: “Awake, you who sleep, Arise from the dead, And Christ will give you light.”
The Lord is the light; when you bask in His light, you are basking in the glory of the Lord. Hallelujah! It feels so good to walk in the light of the Lord. My brothers and sisters in Christ know exactly what I mean. The devil is afraid of the light, that’s why he walks and creeps in the darkness.As light bearers, we who are in Christ have a duty not only to walk in the Light, but to shine the Light on the devil and his schemes and expose his corruption. For by doing so we can help each other avoid his traps. We also have a duty to reach down into the darkness and grab hold of the lost and do our best to bring them into the light in Jesus name. Hallelujah! Walk in the light my brothers and sisters; dance in it and shout praises to the Lord. Fear not the devil, for you are children of the Most High and the bearers of His light. Shine! Shine in the name of Jesus Christ. If you are not saved, please join us. Let go of the darkness. Let the Lord redeem you and wash away your guilt and shame. Join us in the light and become a new creation. Amen.
Luke 11:33-36 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a secret place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, that those who come in may see the light. The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore, when your eye is good, your whole body also is full of light. But when your eye is bad, your body also is full of darkness. Therefore take heed that the light which is in you is not darkness. If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.”
