Certainty In Uncertain Times

Randall Daluz Apples On TreeColossians 1:3-6  “We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel, which has come to you, as it has also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit, as it is also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;”

Randal Daluz Dead End SignDear Readers,  The world is a mess right now.  Don’t you agree?  Plagues, war, deviant behavior, crime, poverty, terrorists, drugs, alcohol and sex trafficking are just a few of the awful things infecting this world.  All of these thing cause a lot of anxiety.  They shake our faith to the core at times.  In this world, nothing is certain.  We cannot be completely sure of anything.  This is why the unfaithful tremble in fear daily; Because they lack faith, which means they lack certainty.  Hear me, please.  There is certainty in Christ Jesus.  His word is guaranteed.  In fact, there is one other guarantee out there, and that is: If you do not accept Jesus and repent of your sin, then you will most assuredly perish and drown in flames – Forever!  Of that you can surely be certain.  Jesus said in John 14:6 …“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”  You know, I really don’t like preaching about the fire; but it is my duty to tell you the truth.

Now, let me tell you some great news.  There is redemption in Christ.  Hallelujah!  Praise God!  Trust me when I tell you that I know from experience.  You see, I used to be part of what’s wrong with the world.  I was headed for death and flames; But my awesome Lord saved me, He cleansed me, redeemed me and is helping me to become more like Him as we speak.  Praise God!  Thank you, Jesus!  My Lord quite literally snatched me from the devil’s hand and saved me at the eleventh hour from almost certain death.  Praise His Name!  Glory To God!

Randall Daluz sky Path ArchesGod has a plan for me and I am determined to follow it.  He has one for you too, friends.  You no longer have to live in fear.  You can rest for you can be certain of your future in Christ.  Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth and you shall be saved.  God guarantees it.  You can know where you will end up.  With that knowledge, you can put aside fear and doubt.  Will you still experience fear and doubt – from time to time – after being saved?  The answer is, maybe you may, because of your flesh; but you will conquer it and you will always return to peace; For the Lord will remind you of His promises and you will once again be at peace.  Why?  Because you will know you can be certain of the Lord.  Over time you will be affected, and infected less and less by fear and doubt.  For as our relationship with Christ grows, so to does our confidence  That is empirical because the Lord is empirical.  Hallelujah!  Praise God!  Now, I used the word empirical a lot this week because I want you to understand that God is true.  He is real.  Scientists use that word when something is a proven fact and not just a theory.  Jesus Christ, Yeshua, Yahweh, God and the Godhead (or Holy Trinity) are real.  They are all the same proven fact.  None of this is theory and that, my friends, is truly empirical!  Amen!

May you accept the Lord!  May you allow Him to make you certain in an uncertain world.  May the Lord bless and keep you!
Love in Christ,
Randall
